Sports injuries
Treatment and rehabilitation for athletes, from the injury to the return to competition.
Sports physiotherapy does not end when the pain goes: it ends when you can compete again without risk of relapse. We treat the injury and, above all, the reason it happened.
Precise diagnosis from day one
We assess the injury, the sporting movement, the training load of the previous weeks and your injury history. Where it adds information, we confirm the extent of the damage with ultrasound on site, which allows realistic timeframes rather than guesses.
Treatment in phases
The first phase controls pain and protects the tissue, with manual therapy and, where indicated, ultrasound-guided techniques such as EPI® or neuromodulation. Then comes progressive strength work, movement re-education and finally sport-specific work at competition intensity.
Objective criteria for discharge
We do not discharge by calendar. Discharge comes when measurable criteria for strength, control and sport-specific movement are met. That is what separates returning from getting injured again, and why so many relapses happen in the weeks after an early discharge.
Prevention and pre-season
Many injuries can be anticipated. Assessing strength asymmetries, mobility deficits and load management before the season significantly reduces risk, especially in sports with sprints and changes of direction.
