Super inductive therapy session

Super inductive therapy

High-intensity electromagnetic fields for pain, muscle spasm and mobility.

Super inductive therapy uses high-intensity electromagnetic fields to act on nerve and muscle, with no needles and no direct skin contact. It is painless and you do not need to undress.

What it achieves

It works on three fronts: it reduces pain, relaxes muscles in spasm and stimulates contraction where voluntary activation is difficult. That combination makes it useful both in acute phases, when touch hurts, and in long processes that have stalled.

When we use it

It is particularly useful in back pain with marked muscle tightness, in stiff joints and where the patient does not tolerate manual therapy well. Also as support in bone healing and in restoring joint mobility.

What the session is like

The applicator rests on the area, even over clothing, and you feel a vibration or a rhythmic muscle contraction, without pain. Intensity is adjusted with you and the session forms part of the physiotherapy treatment.

Frequently asked questions

Does super inductive therapy hurt?
No. You feel a vibration or a rhythmic muscle contraction, which may seem odd at first but is not painful. Intensity is adjusted with you throughout.
How is it different from percutaneous neuromodulation?
Neuromodulation reaches the nerve with an ultrasound-guided needle, with millimetre precision. Super inductive therapy works from outside, without needles, over a wider area. We choose according to the goal and to what each patient tolerates.
Who should not have it?
It is not used with pacemakers or implanted electronic devices, during pregnancy, over tumour processes or, depending on the case, over metal implants. This is always checked beforehand.
